  • Daily
    • Every 4 batches: clean chaff collector End of day:
      1. Cool down machine to at least 175° F before shutting it down
      2. Clean chaff collector
      3. Wipe down cooling bin and outside of machine
      4. Shut of gas supply ( and water on new machine )
  • Monthly
    • Slide exhaust off machine and inspect blower wheels. Clean if needed. Same for exhaust - inspect and clean if needed
    • Inspect belts and set screws on pulleys
    • Grease bearing on drum: front and rear
  • 3-6 Months
    • Remove main blower and cooler motors. Clean blower wheels and housings blowers set inside of.
    • Grease 2 bearings on idler shaft under main drum
    • Clean exhaust pipe exiting building
    • Grease bearing under sweeper arms
    • Inspect cross tube from chaff collector to main blower. Clean if needed
    • Scrape wall of chaff collector and remove any buildup
    • Snake small chimney sweep through internal air flow duct running from top of drum to chaff collector.
    • Remove hopper assembly and make sure passages behind it are clear.
  • Yearly
    • Repeat schedule maintenance for 3-6 months
    • Remove random jets in burner and check the back of them for buildup or blockage.
    • If buildup is visible remove remaining jets and clean with hot water and /or compressed air.
DO NOT POKE ORIFICE HOLES WITH ANYTHING BIGGER THEN THE DIAMETER OF THE HOLE.
